About six years ago our group Vibrant Praise was started. Looking back I remember being so excited just to be a part of a singing group. I had no vision of what we were to become.

I now know that God put us together to do a work for Him. An example of how God has used us for His work is an event that happened on our first year anniversary trip in Portland, Oregon. There we met a woman on the Max Train. Upon meeting her and hearing of some of the challenges in her life we began to talk about God and how He could take care of her needs. After talking with her for some time, she told us that she knew we were people who could help her find the relationship she needed with God. She asked us to pray for her, so we stood in a circle on the street of Portland and prayed for her.

That experience was something I wouldn't have thought I would ever be a part of even one year before. There have been many more opportunities that we have been blessed to be a part of since then.

"We are a light of the world, a city set on a hill that cannot be hid." I'm so thankful that people can look to us and know that there is hope. We're here to do a work for God and I'm so thankful that God would use me to help fulfill His awesome plan!!
